VERONA AND GARDA LAKE: the biggest lake in Italy is divided between three regions (Veneto, Lombardy and Trentino). It is an hour's drive from our Bed & Breakfast.

Curiosity: in Caprino Veronese, location in the hills above Lake Garda you can admire the largest plane-tree in Italy.

This is the Plane-tree of 100 riflemen ( bersaglieri ) , so named because it allowed 100 sharpshooters to hide in his shock.

Since then the Plane-tree was elected  as Italian National Monument.
